After the bus and the boat we took the funicular up to the top for an awesome view of Dresden.
At this point the track falls away and the car is suspended from the top

We used our HOHO ticket to get back near our hotel and then a taxi which has now become a necessity. I forgot to mention that Berlin had a flat short distance (less than 2K) fare of 4 euros. Not so here. I miss the regular use of public transportation. But no complaints as we are still traveling!
Tomorrow on the Vienna Austria via bus with a change in Prague, Czech Republic.
